This Strategic Guide was created in collaboration with disAbility Cornwall & Isles of Scilly and the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care System, led by Issy whilst in her role as Lived Experience Programme Manager.
It sets out the key pillars of inclusive hiring, informed by Equality legislation, such as the Equality Act 2010, and lived experience — from attracting diverse candidates, to building accessible application processes, running inclusive interviews, and supporting new hires to feel welcome in an inclusive workplace culture.
The guide will form part of the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care System’s recruitment process, strengthening their ongoing EDI work.
