ACCESS means OPTIONS

Cornwall Disability Alliance, Sound Image Cinema Lab, and Screen Cornwall collaborated to co-produce Access Means Options, a short film created with Falmouth University students. Presented at the TECwomen Ctrl Alt Del_ Summit in February 2024, the film highlights the importance of involving people with long-term health conditions, disabilities, sensory conditions, or neurodivergence in designing accessible technology. Using testimonies from people with lived experience, the project demonstrates the principle of ‘nothing about us without us‘ and translates it into a narrative that helps others understand inclusive design practices. Issy led the project, alongside Adam Goodwin, producing and facilitating the film and teaching elements with the students.
