As organisations focus their attention on reducing the gender pay gap, Brew People consider the difficulties in focussing too much on a traditional man-woman dichotomy and the limited success achieved by simply tweaking discrete elements in the system. We look at the psychological and structural factors that drive pay inequality and explore if it is time for more radical systemic change in how work is designed and rewarded.
